I love that for the whole first minute and a half of that video, they don’t sing a note, just make rain and storm noises. It sounds like “African Sanctus,” and it’s bloody brilliant.
Africa in Africa is awesome.
Re the 100 things list – a lot of that stuff is going way sure, but some of it I’m certain is typical geek-tech blindness. Two simple examples.
E.g. I’m fairly certain that “Taking turns picking a radio station, or selecting a tape, for everyone to listen to during a long drive” isn’t going away completely (though it won’t ever be a “tape” again) because a/ music will always sound different through decent large speakers to through headphones and b/ people like to sing along.
Will cash really go away within our lifetimes? Really? “Here’s $5 – get me some chocolate while you’re there.”
