Frank Frazetta 1928-2010

Frank Frazetta dies, age 82.

This was always my favourite Frazetta image. I like its sloping, sultry energy and its gleeful embrace of pulp archetypes.

These Frazetta covers were my inspiration for the cover of On Mighty Thews: http://www.raggedclaws.com/home/2009/04/06/look-here-three-jongor-covers-by-frank-frazetta/

Nice choice Morgue! A great blend of Orientalism and er, Africanism? I particularly like the blue and the way the marbled column draws your eye (well, mine at least)

My tuppence here (forgive the pimpery!)
