{"id":1174,"date":"2009-11-03T08:12:30","date_gmt":"2009-11-03T08:12:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/morgue.isprettyawesome.com\/?p=1174"},"modified":"2011-01-15T13:11:44","modified_gmt":"2011-01-15T00:11:44","slug":"rasslin-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/morgue.isprettyawesome.com\/?p=1174","title":{"rendered":"Rasslin&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kiwiprowrestling.co.nz\/uploads\/pics\/IMG_2302.JPG?w=660\"><br \/>\n<em>Some action from last year&#8217;s Halloween show<\/em><br \/>\nJust like last year, I rolled up with an enthusiastic posse to watch some rasslin&#8217; at the Kiwi Pro Wrestling&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kiwiprowrestling.co.nz\/Halloween-Howl-4.1250.0.html\">Halloween Howl extravaganza<\/a>.<br \/>\nHighlight, of course, was seeing the redoubtable <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kiwiprowrestling.co.nz\/Dr-Diablo.497.0.html\">Doctor Diablo<\/a> open the night trying to bring down the fearsome Brute, but even a spectacular <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Moonsault\">moonsault<\/a> off the top rope did not avail the man with a PhD in Pain!<br \/>\nAfter that fight I&#8217;d shouted myself hoarse already so I was left just gesturing for the rest of the night. It was heaps of fun.<br \/>\nI think once a year is about my speed for these things, but I fully intend to be back again next Halloween. Hooooo!<br \/>\n(Also, big news: the KPW lads and lasses have announced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.throng.co.nz\/ropes\/kiwi-wrestling-returns-tv-after-25-years\">an upcoming series<\/a> on free-to-air Prime TV called <em>Off The Ropes<\/em>!
