A couple more authors who disliked the movie versions of their books:
~ Alice Walker with Steven Spielberg’s The Color Purple.
~ Elizabeth Knox with Niki Caro’s The Vintner’s Luck.
Both were disappointed the director’s left out or brushed over gay story lines which were crucial to the books’ plots.
Tom Clancy also had some fun “is he being sarcastic or not?” things to say in the DVD commentary for “Sum of All Fears” too. Hard to tell with him.
Also just so I can sort of say I saw it first, the Skywalking/ Roofwalking thing might be new to Petapixel, but it has been around for a wee while. I watched the video they linked about a year ago after it was linked from a copy of this:

But yes, those Russian teens have their crazy level set to epic. Must be an intersesting place to grow up given the drastic era changes the place has been through in the last generation or so.
