Via mrsmeows, here’s a 9-minute doco on a man in a wheelchair building a helicopter out of junk. It’s quite lovely.
Via gbaker, here’s a 9-minute doco on a group of friends playing Settlers of Catan when IT ALL GOES WRONG. It’s actually a dramatic recreation of the event – using the actual people – mixed in with talking heads. Neat stuff.
Jean Grae kills. Kill Screen. Flow deadly as hell plus your true classic arcade sounds. As the lady says, Rappity Rap.

And finally… via the City Gallery Wellington, oddly enough… it’s the RAINBOW SPONGE
That rainbow sponge video fills me with a giddying mix of glee and utter incredulity. Awesome!
Oh my gosh! I wish I could get that excited by rainbow sponges.
OH MY GOSH look at that OH MY GOSH!
Six degrees of BS doesn’t work! Where is BS?!
Srsly, the conceit of 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon is that the noble gentleman Mr Bacon is only six degrees out blah blah, and as a younger Simian my jungle chums and I would play it back and forth i.e. say Christian Slater to Val Kilmer (it was the NINETIES!) with Mr B in between (viz: CS=Murder in the First -> KB! <- A Few Good Men (Cruise) <- Top Gun=VK). But this I don't get. Why Black Sabbath? WHYYY?
At least Iron Maiden RHYMES!
Still, Rainbow Sponge is everything you sell it to be and MORE! Bravo, sir!
Rainbow Sponge took me to a really scary tower climb…
