I may be about to become a proper Hoose Moose.
Our offer was accepted, conditional on [boring stuff].
Now to do [boring stuff]!
This has all happened very quickly.
(Aside: If moose is the Scots for mouse, what, I wonder, is the Scots for moose?)

Thouroughly recommend printing off your bank balance on the one day the mortgage is there before being drawn down. Its nice to look and see so much moolah there, even if fleetingly (and technically not yours!).
Scots for moose would probably be something like ‘great big f’in deer’
Good luck with the boring stuff, it makes the difference between buying a house, and buying a house that’ll fall down round your ears before you can sell it on! 😉
And of course, congratulations, and welcome to life as a homeowner!
I suspect they call it an elk 🙂
samm: noted 🙂
Derek: thanks!
Repton: touche’. Although I think Derek might be closer to the common usage form…
Good luck with [boring stuff]. Hope it goes smoothly.
Looking forward to daytime trampoline sprinkler kids party house warming!
As other fellows have noted, we wouldn’t call it a moose. I’d imagine many Scots would simply opine: “Whit the fuck’s that, ya bammer?”
Or something similar.
Anyhow, congratulations on stepping into the world of property owning. Spending the first night in your own home is, I can tell you, quite a special and terrifying experience. But, an experience you and Cal can share.
Great universal happiness!
Cheers

WooooooooOOOOooooOOOoooo!
Leaving Wellie NooooOOOOooooo!
I guess I’ll still see you Monday through Wednesday at our various sports. So not much will change.
Congrats! \o/

Man that was quick. Congrats you a Hutt boy again!!! yeah black jeans and a mullet… no wait… that was me, dam I have tried to forget that. Sweet tho bro.
Congrats to you and Cal. Daunting as it may seem, owning your own place is great. Hell, we’re on our third! 🙂
the best thing about owning your house is the bank manager never comes over to check the state of your oven 🙂
Congratulations to you and Cal.
