Re the Red Barn thing, ships/boats etc are often that colour below the waterline for the same reason – anti-fouling.
Achewood itself has been updating lately, but only 1/4 of it has been quality.
I’d love to see Star Wars entirely rescored by “Beethoven”: think how much that version of the March would change the emotional tenor of any scene with an Imperial March cue – then think how different the films would seem if you did that to every cue…
