Hi Morgan,
Did I by any chance leave a plastic bag with a Happy Creature T-shirt and pair of shoes in the back of your car?
Stephanie
outside the hospital at dusk you cannot hear yourself think due to the birds chirpcheaping. LOUD. a few beautiful native birds is one thing but the chorus freaks me out. it’s like a scene from the birds or something.
so that last comment was from me. hmmm… weird how i didn’t name it. i was going to leave it at that but i’m not good at being enigmatic.
probably shouldn’t mention the maori belief that fantails are bad news in an ill auguring sort of way. Apparently. I read that somewhere once, so it might even be accurate. Anything ominous happen after your fantail sighting?
Not entirely true, though there might be a element of tapu about it — they’re often the spirits of ancestors, and I guess if they’re checking up on you, something worth worrying about might be on the horizon, but that wouldn’t make them bad luck, per se.
One day, Morgue, remind me to tell you a story about my family; but for today, if they’re hanging around you, think about any departed relatives that might take an interest. After all, it can’t hurt to remember them once in a while. 🙂
