BIZ-E

Final week before the big day. Final week being engaged. Loads to do.
Was in a shop the other day with Gregor, Malc and Liz. Gregor nudged me and pointed at a t-shirt showing a bride-and-groom symbol, and I read aloud the words above it: “Game on!” Gregor shook his head and flattened the shirt so I could see that it really said “Game Over”. But he insisted that it was a good omen that I misread it so positively…
(If y’all want to come, give me an email. Yes, you *are* invited.)

  1. I have noticed that for many men, marriage means a sharp decline in gaming. Though kids seem to play an even bigger part in this. (Thinking of guys whose names rhyme with “ween” here.)

  2. Having a kid has certainly led to a huge decline in gaming for Debbie and me – not so much for Luke though. Still, in a few years we’ll all be playing kiddy D&D with the next generation!

  3. For me it wasn’t the marriage that caused the drop in gaming it was the birth of my daughter. But then that also picked up again as she got a little older. And now she is at a stage where she can boardgame with me and simple roleplaying.
I think a Tshirt like that saying game on would be pretty cool.
