Sleeping In, reversed

I’ve been going to bed at 10.30 for over a week now, in a drastic change from my traditional bedtime of 12.30-1am. Initially it was because 40+ hours of travelling caught up on me, but now it is dangerously close to becoming a habit. Going to bed early is nice.
How on earth am I going to complete this Masters if I’m going to bed at 10.30? *panics*

  1. Early bed is nice, even if coupled with the nastiness of the Early Morning. Also part of the reason its taking me so darned long to complete Draft 3 of Ashes.
    *sigh*

  2. Well, there is a whole lot of research showing that you will be healthier and function better cognitively if you get 7-8 hours sleep a night… so maybe you will just become super-efficient!
If I let myself stay up much later than 10:30, me and my boys have a crappy next day… but we wake up about 6 and once or twice in the night most days!

  3. Working on my dissertation taught me I’m actually a morning person (10 to bed, 5 to rise). Or maybe I transitioned into a morning person…. That’s unclear. But it worked, I got distinction and my opinions are now preserved in the national library. cringe.
